Uwe's Delphi blog – In standard Windows applications the default button height is 23 pixels. To get that information you could try to measure buttons in other applications, but you will very likely fail to get the exact size, because some controls do have invisible borders. Thatswhy you better check the “Windows User Experience Interaction Guidelines”. In that really large document you can see that the default button height is 23, but the visible height is only 21. I am used to that default button height and that means whenever I place a new TButton on a Delphi form at work it’s height is 23. ...
