TPersistent.com – I run Delphi in a Virtual Machine on my 2.5 Ghz MacBook Pro 4.1 with 4Gb RAM. It’s great to have a portable platform, and the combination of Mac OS/X and VMWare Fusion 3 has worked well for me. However it’s not without it’s limitations. There are certainly times I wished I had more RAM (ever tried to run more than 1 VM?), and of course I always want more speed. To squeeze better performance from VMWare Fusion on my MacBook Pro I bought a SATA II express card off of eBay for under $20 and then attached an external 3.5″ hard drive in a SATA enclosure.
