Upgrade from Windows 7 Beta to RC worked fine!

Olaf Monien – I just successfully finished the upgrade from Win7 Beta to RC (64-bit edition). It took a couple of hours, but so far all worked seamlessly. All (important) systems seem to be up and running. D2009 starts, compiles and runs my last projects – interestingly the 64-bit Thread issue seems to occur less often now. Upgrading from Beta to RC is not recommended though – in fact the installer will refuse to do so. Only upgrading from Vista is a valid option.This is not really because of technical reasons, it’s mostly because MS isn’t interested in feedback for Beta –> RC upgrades, as this won’t be ...
