Working with VCL Styles and the Bitmap Style Designer #Delphi27th

I was discussing VCL Styles and the Bitmap Style Designer recently and came across a few webinars that I thought would be great to revisit.

VCL Styles are a fast and easy way to give your VCL application a modern UI. RAD Studio, Delphi, and C++Builder ship with 39 VCL Styles, 14 of which are High-DPI. There are 25 more Premium VCL Styles in the GetIt Package Manager, free for everyone on update subscription.

If you aren’t familiar with the VCL Styles, there are some articles in the DocWiki on the topic:

Note: FireMonkey has it’s own styling system, which I’m not covering here.

Back in 2017 I hosted a webinar on the topic of Cool Trips for VCL Styles. I need to re-watch this to refresh my memory.

And you can access the slides: Cool Tricks for VCL Styles

Ray Konopka had a session back at CodeRage X on Skinning VCL Applications with VCL Styles

Here is a more recent webinar replay with Alexey Sharagin of DelphiStyles:

What is your favorite VCL Style? I recently discovered TechnoLine Light on DelphiStyles, and it is my new favorite! I’m a sucker for circuit line patterns.
