For those who don’t follow Formula 1, the season went down to the last lap of the last race but earlier in the season there was another one lap sprint to end the Azerbaijan GP.
Lewis Hamilton failed to take the first corner of the restart. Depending on which version of events you read Hamilton forgot to turn something on or off or bumped it on. Yes there was some human error involved and cars are complex and the computers are only allowed to do so much. It will be interesting to see if there are any design changes for the 2022 season. Either by moving the button, automating the button or having it linked to some other function that may automatically set it on or off.
